I decided to find a new attorney for my criminal case when I felt I was backed into a corner with my previous attorney. My wife and I decided to call The Law Office of Cosby and Calhoun. We had given them very short notice to them in regards to where we were in the case. It was a Thursday afternoon, with court the following Tuesday.

We met that Friday and spoke to both Mr. Cosby and Mr. Calhoun. We retained their service on Monday, and they immediately got to work. When my hearing day came, Mr. Calhoun showed up on a moment’s notice to help secure themselves as my new attorneys.

Within two weeks, Mr. Calhoun was able to retrieve the evidence from the Commonwealth that my previous attorney never even picked up. We reviewed all the evidence and with his attention to detail, was able to compile a list of inconsistencies with the Commonwealth’s case against me. Within just 2 months, Mr. Calhoun was able to show enough evidence to get the Commonwealth to move to Nolle Prosequi.

The team at Cosby and Calhoun is amazing! Everyone was very responsive with any questions we had. Mr. Calhoun was professional, responsive, and pays great attention to the details of the case. Recently, Mr. Cosby was called upon on short notice to defend someone who had found themselves in a precarious situation. Mr. Cosby immediately swung into action, without hesitation. He and Mr. Calhoun were successful in negotiating a deal where all twelve charges were dismissed. There could not have been a better outcome.

I would 100% recommend Attorneys Cosby and Calhoun. They are professional, compassionate, and reliable. Both explained the law jargon in simple terms and were honest about potential outcomes. I used this law firm for a particularly troubling reason in my personal life that caused me a lot of stress and my lawyer was Kevin Calhoun.

Right off the bat we had an in-depth conversation about what happened and what I needed/what he could offer me in terms of service. I had little understanding of the legal processes and Mr.Calhoun exceeded every expectation I had in a lawyer and helping me understand every detail of what was happening.

The actual law firm kept me apprised of every action that was taken by mail, and always answered any questions I had when I called, usually that day or the next.

The communication I received through Mr.Calhoun and his associates was impeccable, and I could not have asked for better! We got the result we were hoping for and he even offered to push for an expungement without my asking. There was always a plan ahead, and I appreciate that.

I highly recommend this firm to anyone who is in need of one, their communication with their clients is great, the understanding of the legal process and ability to explain it in “normal people terms” is fantastic, and above all they are nice with no judgement!

Mr. Cosby is a great lawyer and did a great job with my case. He worked really hard to fight to get me out of my situation and was very easy to work with. He will be upfront and honest and won’t give you false hope. He got my charges reduced and had my DWI changed to a wet reckless. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great lawyer.

Very intelligent lawyers, they know the law. They are very expensive but you get what u pay for plus u get two lawyers really bc u have Mr.Cosby that have the 40+yrs experience and u get Mr.Kevin which is also a very knowledgeable lawyer both are awesome and I feel confident in my wife’s upcoming court date

Not every case is a outright dismissal we threw Charles into a impossible situation where the defendant was facing life in prison and Charles got him a two year deal.. you can’t beat that with a football bat.. Defendant happy were happy all is good Thanks Charles!

I am very thankful that Mr. Cosby worked out such a favorable plea agreement on such serious charges. He worked a deal where my very serious felony case was dropped. This means I will not be burdened for the rest of my life with a felony.

Mr. Cosby has represented me recently on two cases, both in different jurisdictions. He got my felony drug dealing case dismissed, and the other felony cases he worked out a terrific deal with the prosecutor where I got suspended time, even though the sentencing guidelines called for me to be locked up.

I am very pleased with Mr. Cosby as a lawyer who did a lot to help me and I refer him clients.

We interviewed no less than ten attorneys to take over the Motions and sentencing phases of our son’s case. After much research, in-depth meetings and follow-up calls, we felt Mr. Cosby was the right choice. Through this very difficult endeavor whereas our son, due to his initial attorney’s incompetence, was found guilty of second-degree murder in a case that was clearly self-defense, Mr. Cosby was our saving grace. He was patient, extremely dedicated, and very thorough. While his paralegal Mandy was typically available and consistently helpful, Mr. Cosby was always willing to speak with us and returned our calls when we wanted to speak with him directly, which was often. He answered every question we had, precisely explained all legal options, sentencing guidelines, possible results, and he provided specific instructions that we followed and which positively impacted our son’s results. We greatly appreciated also that he didn’t make promises or guarantees that would have promoted unreasonable expectations. His integrity prevented our family from suffering even greater devastation then we already experienced. That said, our son’s sentence was only two years for the second degree murder charge and its because of Mr. Cosby’s tenacity and diligence in and outside of the courtroom. Mr. Cosby was always the calm during the storm. However, don’t let his laid-back demeanor fool you.

Once I got the phone call my husband was in trouble, I went into panic mode of getting the best attorney around. I called every attorney I could find, some would waste my time, some said they could help, and others told me if I wanted the best defense to call Charles Cosby. Making that call was the best thing I could have done. Mr. Cosby immediately got me in. Once meeting him I knew I had made the right choice. I put faith in him, and he did not steer me wrong. The outcome was amazing.
Anytime I hear someone say they are in legal trouble, Charles Cosby is the only person I recommend.

Mr. Cosby and his associates are truly awesome. They were very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the system and very prompt to answer or return phone calls and questions any time we called. Mr. Cosby even called us when he was on vacation with his family and even at night. He never failed to return a call promptly. We were beyond pleased with his expertise. When my family faced a life changing event. I only wanted the best attorney to fight for us. Everyone I spoke to told me if it can be done, Mr Cosby would make it happen. That was by far the best advise I was ever given. I was facing the possibility of only seeing my spouse through a glass window for many many years. Mr Cosby fought for my family till the end. He is very knowledge on the criminal field, he is a true fighter, his office staff is nothing short of amazing. They all truly made me feel like family.
