When you or someone you love has been charged with a criminal offense, the justice system can often seem overwhelming, even insurmountable at times.  A million questions are running through your mind, and you don't know where to turn or who to ask for help.  That is where Dana comes in.

From the moment that you meet her, it is obvious that Dana cares.  Because criminal matters are so personal, Dana understands the importance of providing clients with a defense that is tailored to fit their unique needs.  She takes a personalized approach to every case, recognizing the individual behind the charges they are facing.  She understands that no two cases are the same, and appreciates the importance of getting to know the people that she represents.

Dana is a passionate advocate who will stop at nothing to ensure that her clients receive the representation that they deserve.  She works tirelessly to ensure that their voices are being heard, and tailors a defense that takes into consideration their individual circumstances and needs.

Dana graduated from the University of Michigan with High Distinction. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was selected by a panel of professors and peers to receive the Claire Corcoran Award for her extraordinary commitment to public service.  She received national recognition for her dedication to child advocacy after a friend wrote a letter to The Ellen DeGeneres Show describing Dana's work with incarcerated youth.

Dana has experience representing clients in matters ranging from traffic infractions to serious felony offenses.  She has appeared in over 30 different cities and counties throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Dana is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Virginia and in the District of Columbia.  She has also been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Virginia, the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
